Inspection of your greasing system!

The inspection of a lubrication system has 2 parts.

Step 1: Daily summary inspection

First, a summary visual inspection should be made on a daily basis by the operator;

  • Check if there is a thin layer of fresh grease at each lubrication point
  • Make sure all hoses and adapters are in place and not leaking
  • Check the electronic card to make sure there are no alarms
  • Do a test cylce (additional cycle button) on the electronic card to make sure that the pump works well and that the pressure rises on the pressure gauge of the pump

Summary inspection ensures that once the equipment is up and running, everything is functional. No need to turn back for a minor break and lose production time.

Step 2: Full inspection in fall and spring

Afterwardfall and spring are key seasons for full inspections. Fall for snow removal equipment and spring for construction and paving equipment.

Scheduled inspection will allow you to detect and resolve problems before the work. Keeping your equipment in optimal condition can be more productive!

Who does the inspection?

1. Us

The inspection of the lubrication system can be entrusted to a workshop recognized for the services of Allfett systems . This saves you time and ensures that all points are covered. An inspection report is provided to you for each equipment inspected.

You have questions?

DID YOU KNOW? All operators who work with a range limiting device must have received adequate training on this device!

If you ask your operators to program the range limiting device, will they be able to do it without a problem?

This is the question that a CNESST inspector will ask you during his next visit to your site. If the answer is negative, you will have to suspend your activities until your operators have undergone adequate training.

Make sure your operators know how the range limiting device works to avoid unnecessary stops during the working season. Trainings are available. Contact your distributor. Don't wait for the CNESST to come to your construction sites!

Amendment to the Safety Code for Construction works

The CNESST recently made an amendment to the Safety Code for Construction Work (decree 483-2021). This amendment addresses the regulations for electricity, scaffolding, working near a power line, and portable tools.

In this document we learn that operators now have an obligation to receive training on the operation of the range limiting device.

OKO - Tire sealant for Truck & Bus - Drive with peace of mind

Prevention is better than cure - Be more productive on the road

For HGV fleet owners and the commercial tire specialists that supply them, an effective truck puncture prevention and tire life extension system has become essential. No-one can afford to miss a just-in-time delivery: downtime prevents successful operation.

Likewise, bus and coach operators know just how disruptive and expensive it is to have a vehicle stopped with a puncture. Recovery is time-consuming and ruins the whole day’s schedule.

OKO Truck & Bus tire sealant for Heavy Goods Vehicles is the solution

A tire sealant sealant designed to deal with ON Road speeds in the tires of heavy trucks, trailers ans buses. Prevents punctures of up to 8mm diameter and stops tire deflation as you drive; seals a hole in the tread area the moment the puncture happens

Copes with the friction and heat inside fast-moving tire: reduces the temperature and lessens the loss of air. In a matched 5-month European test, the OKO Truck & Bus equipped truck had 20% less tire wear than the non-OKO truck. On the steer tires, the difference was 40%.

Lasts 100 000 - 140 000 km (60 000 - 90 000 miles) before more Truck & Bus should be injected (If the tire is still usable) to maintain a liquid layer: the longer duration can be expected in cool climates. Only a small amount is used in making each seal. Truck & bus remains liquid inside the tire even after multiple sealing events. For tubeless pneumatic tire: inner tubes are too weak inside fast road-going vehicles and cannot be sealed reliably.
