The creator of Heavy Duty Evolution Ltd. Alex Rice has 20 years of experience with all types of equipment. Throughout his career he has been educated with a complete 4-year HET certificate as well as Red Seal certification in On-highway truck and trailer and Off-highway equipment. He spent his early apprenticeship years in the oil and gas industry, starting his career in service rig manufacturing and field service then moving on to camp support units and natural gas compression maintenance. After completing his third-year apprenticeship certification he moved on to material handling equipment and then the paving industry. He completed his HET certification with two red seal certifications as well as multiple industry standard certifications and started building Heavy Duty Evolution in the spring of 2013. Every move in his career was fueled by the search for knowledge and a strategy of understanding as many aspects of diesel, propane, gasoline and natural gas, powered equipment as possible. With the support of Alberta Industry Training and multiple web training sources Alex now trains some of the most qualified and knowledgeable apprentices in Canada.
