The Sociéte d’assurance automobile du Québec (S.A.A.Q), has clearly demonstrated the image, Blind spots on a truck represent a significant area. The bigger the truck, the more space covered by blind spots.

A camera will diminish the driver’s blind spots thus diminishing the risk of serious accidents.
Many types of cameras can be recommended for this situation. Simple cameras, radars or ultrasounds, morphological recognition.
Attention, the security cameras are tools to help the trucker be more vigilant. . The obligation to install cameras may not prevent all accidents but can certainly help to prevent many. Whether you are a cyclist, pedestrian, motorist, trucker or other, be careful we share the same road so we must also learn to share the responsibilities.
